Homemade Pie Crust tastes different than store bought…in a good way:)

In this video I’ll show you how to make your own Crust from scratch. It’s not very hard but it does take some patience working with the tender dough. Have fun!
Single Pie Crust Recipe*:
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar (optional)
1/3 cup butter, softened
3-5 Tbsp COLD water
In a bowl combine flour, salt and sugar. Cut in butter and slowly add water until the dough comes together in a ball. Place between two pieces of parchment paper or roll out on a floured board. Transfer to a pie pan, make crust and pierce with a fork to prevent crust from bubbling in the oven (only necessary if you are baking before adding filling).
*This recipe makes a single crust. For a double crust, you will increase the butter to 1/2 cup and double the rest of the ingredients adding water as needed.
