Peanut Butter Ganache Bars

For not liking peanuts or peanut butter, my daughter (Eva) makes fabulous Peanut Butter Ganache Bars. She is also known for making peanut butter pie, but that’s for another day.

Peanut butter and chocolate are famous companions. In this recipe the graham crackers contribute a stable texture and crunch, perfect for the velvety smooth layer of chocolatey cream that will top the squares.

Not only is this a delicious dessert, it looks stunning as well! But don’t be deceived by its looks…it’s incredibly easy to make! The addition of flake salt on top isn’t just a culinary garnish, it adds a delightful bit of saltiness to the creamy, sweet topping. So, although it’s listed as optional, you really should use it.

Cut into 16 bars for generous dessert sized portions, or 25 smaller bars for petite, bite size portions. (Then you can eat 4 of them).

No matter how you slice them, you’ll find them easy to make, beautiful to serve and gone very quickly.
